Can’t get my leg wet while its healing from my surgery. But I’m not gonna let a little rain or a surgery stop me from going fishing!

Looks like it’s back to wearing glasses again. That happened after I had a really bad seizure a month ago… And I now have an eye surgery scheduled for August. Can’t believe I need to have another surgery… Oh, well – no big deal

I went to the Spina Bifida convention at Disneyland. I learned a lot and got to have some fun time with Mickey!!

Wow! What a great time I had at the LSU game!  And we won, too!!  I was so excited to see the LSU marching band.  I sure did miss those guys.  And you know what else I really liked doing?  – Riding the bus from our car to the game.  I like doing that almost as much as I like going to the game…. Check out the video my Uncle Beau made.  I cheered so loud that I sounded like a frog the next day.  I’m so glad I got to go to the game – especially cause I had an ambulance ride to the hospital just 2 weeks earlier  and cause it was raining so much the day of the game.  But the rained stopped just in time for the half-time show.  That’s when I got to sit outside. And it didn’t rain anymore! God sure is good!

Look Who’s 6 years old –

I love my cake!!

It’s me!!!  Yep, on August 12, I turned 6.  And this year my mommy and daddy let me have a real birthday party with my friends. At first I wanted to have my party at the movie theater and see Planes but then I decided to have it at the bowling alley since I love to bowl.  But I still wanted to have a ‘Planes’ birthday cake.  I had so much fun with my friends at my party!  Oh and thank you to everyone who prayed for me this past year – I am so blessed.  Oh and be sure to check out the new pictures in my PHOTO GALLERY.

 Look at what I can do!!! I think I was kinda scared at first but I didn’t let a little fear stop me!  And I’m so glad – cause it was AWESOME!!!!  I can’t wait to see what I’m gonna get to do the rest of the week!

My Official Baseball Picture

My first real baseball picture. I was on the team called ‘The Heros’

Well my 1st baseball season is over and so is my school year.  I’m gonna miss my team.  But summer is already busy for me. I’m going to camp at my school and in addition to my regular therapies, I am going to aqua therapy.  I LOVE it!!  They are teaching me how to swim without my ‘floaties’.  I am trying real hard and I know I’ll be swimming without them by the end of the summer!!

ANOTHER ‘FIRST’ FOR ME !

Just when I think life can’t get any better – God sends me another surprise!!  Yep you guessed it.  That’s me sitting in the co-pilot seat of the big airplane my family is on. We are going on our vacation!!  I can’t wait for take-off!!!  Think the pilot will let me fly this thing?!!… I mean, I thought driving my jeep was awesome but this is unbelievable!!..

God is so good to me… and so is the pilot for inviting me into the cockpit.. This was great!… Well – gotta go – we’re ready for take-off! 

Baseball is AWESOME!!

Guess what!  Today I got to play in my first ever baseball game.  It was awesome!!  I got to bat all by myself –  and run to all the bases (well not exactly ‘run’ – I used my stander – but it’s just like running to me) – and I even scored 2 points – and I got to play in the field – and I caught the ball a few times and got to throw it to 1st base!!  Can you tell I’m excited or what!!  My dad was the best!! He gave me pointers and he stayed by me the whole time just in case I needed some help.  And my family was there to cheer me on.  Oh, and the name of our team is the Heros. It was one of my best days ever! But you know what was even better than getting to play baseball? – Getting to be part of the team – you know – just one of the guys!! That was the best part of all!!  I can’t wait til our next game!!

My best friend Brooklyn and his team presented me with my very own jersey & hat. And the best part of all… they invited me to be part of their team!!

Hey Guys!  Well- I’m back. I know it’s been a while but I was having a few little challenges since the beginning of this year.  But don’t worry, my mommy, daddy and my teachers have really been working with me and I’m doing great!! After my visit to the hospital at the end of January, my doctors said I needed to gain weight or I might have to get a feeding tube put into my stomach.  I wasn’t too excited about that so I have been really trying to eat more.  And guess what – it worked!! I now weigh almost 30 pounds AND I grew enough that I am getting all new braces this week!!  But the best news of all is …. starting this week-end I’m gonna be on a baseball team with some of my best buddies!!  I’m so excited! .. I have been practicing with my daddy everyday, and I am eating even more food cause I want to get strong like my friends so that I can hit the ball really far. Well, I’ll get back with you after this week-end but I gotta go for now.  Time to practice ball with my dad!

Oh wait!  – Look at what I got to do! I was so proud of myself and happy that I got to walk like my friends.  

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

I hope everyone had a great Christmas!!  I sure did!   Now that the holidays are over I’m back at school.  I don’t mind cause I really like my school.  I have the best teachers and some really good friends.  I kinda have been missing school though cause of ear infections, eye infections… you know – the usual kid stuff.  Anyway, I hope I get all better soon and don’t have to miss anymore school – cause I love to be there!  Hey – check out the video of me driving my new jeep all by myself.  Who said I’d never move my legs?!!  It’s my Christmas miracle!
